Privacy Policy
Long Distance Medical Transport (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates long-distance-medical-transport.com. This page explains what we collect when you request a quote or browse the site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated July 15, 2026.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to coordinate a transport. The quote form on this site asks for:
- Name, phone number, and email address so a coordinator can follow up.
- Pickup and destination city/state, plus any optional notes you provide about timing, mobility, or medical needs.
When you load the site we also receive standard log data (IP address, browser, referring URL, pages viewed) and any Google Click ID (gclid) appended to the URL by a Google Ads click. If you call the toll-free number on this site, your phone carrier transmits caller ID to us in the normal way.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and equivalent storage to keep the site working, understand how it’s used, and measure advertising. The categories we use are:
- Strictly necessary. A short-lived session cookie and a CSRF token cookie protect the quote form from cross-site request forgery and abuse.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity record anonymized usage so we can improve the site.
- First-party site improvement. We assign a random browser identifier for up to 400 days and a new page-view identifier on each page load so we can compare versions of the site and learn which one helps more visitors start or complete a quote. Our measurement database stores a one-way hash of the browser identifier, the version shown, a general page category, and coarse device information. It does not store the raw identifier, IP address, URL query, advertising click ID, quote fields, contact details, or medical notes in these experiment events.
- Advertising attribution.Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) cookies measure which ad or keyword led to a quote request so we can stop spending on ones that don’t work.
- Anti-abuse.Google reCAPTCHA helps us tell humans from bots. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Most browsers let you block or clear cookies in their settings. Doing so will not prevent you from using the site, but the quote form will need a fresh session each visit and our advertising reports may be less accurate.
How we use your information
- Reply with pricing, availability, and follow-up questions about your transport request.
- Coordinate the actual trip with our medical team and receiving facility once you book.
- Operate, secure, and improve the site — including blocking abuse, debugging errors, and measuring which pages and ads lead to coordinated transports.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, including the anti-fraud and anti-competitor terms shown on the quote form.
We do not sell your information. We do not use the contents of your quote request for advertising.
How we share information
We share information only with:
- Our medical transport staff and the crew who actually run your trip.
- Service providers who help operate the site — hosting, email delivery, SMS messaging (when you opt in), phone routing, address autocomplete, fraud prevention, and analytics. These providers are contractually limited to using your information on our behalf.
- Government, law enforcement, or other parties when we have a good-faith belief that the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our passengers, staff, or the public.
How long we keep information
Quote requests and the booking records that follow are retained for as long as we may need them for safety, insurance, billing, regulatory, or dispute-resolution purposes, then deleted or de-identified. Web analytics and advertising-attribution data follow the retention windows of the underlying providers (typically 14 to 26 months for Google Analytics and Google Ads). First-party site improvement events are deleted after 400 days, and the associated random browser identifier cookie expires after 400 days unless you clear it sooner.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the quote form uses a CSRF token, server-side validation, and bot-detection scoring. We restrict access to lead data to staff who need it to coordinate transports. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe an incident has occurred, please contact us so we can investigate.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through this site.
Your choices
- You can ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — subject to records we are legally required to keep.
- You can opt out of marketing follow-ups by replying “stop” to a text, asking the coordinator to remove you from our list, or emailing the address below.
- Browser-level controls (cookie settings, Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control) and ad-platform opt-outs from Google and Microsoft let you limit ad personalization.
Updates to this policy
When this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.
